Factory Studios

Factory is currently undergoing major building and technical upgrades which will see a brand new Dolby 5.1 cinema room being built on their current site and also the addition of rooms to handle up to 14 additional edit suites.  Langdale is overseeing all technical aspects of the expansion and in conjunction with the facility has also handled all system designs and alterations.  Opening for the additional facilities is scheduled for late Spring 2010.

 

 

 

An SSL Duality super-analogue mixing console will soon be the centre-piece of Studio One at Dean St. Studios.  Work is currently underway on the designs for the new studio and from 12^th December installation work will commence on the major upgrade.  The desk is the big brother of the SSL AWS 900+ SE that is currently in the room and makes for a great progression of the facilities.  As with the former desk full pro-tools control and 5.1 surround is incorporated and the upgrade will coincide with the control room also being upgraded to cope with the growing demand for surround sound sessions.

Further Note :-  This installation has now been completed and the room was opened for business again in mid-January from when it has remained fully booked.  There will shorty be further pictures posted on the site under the pro-audio section.
